This route combines off-road elements through vineyards and impenetrable woods, the opportunity to enjoy the basaltic sand beach and stroll under a waterfall called “Cascata do Anjo”.

Departing from the hotel, we ride through mountains to Encumeada pass, taking the opportunity to stop at viewpoints, from where you will see unique landscapes that cannot be accessed by bus. Here, of course, we will take a short break to drink freshly prepared poncha or a cup of hot and aromatic coffee.

Moving on, we will see the forest of Laurissilva and begin to climb among the vineyards of the village São Vicente to the impassable forests, crossing streams and valleys.

Later, we will visit the little-known dark sand beach of Seixal, where we can swim and enjoy its black volcanic sand.

After swimming, we will stop at a rural restaurant overlooking the sea, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch to the sound of the waves (optional).

After lunch, we will head to waterfall called “Cascata do Anjo” (if weather is favorable), where it is essential to make a wish!
Later, we will cross the old tunnels built several centuries ago by the Madeiran people.
